Suitably amended Imperial War Museum Poster (see balloon) on a tube station somewhere in London.
Alternative, or additional, graffiti could include speech or thinks bubbles from either character saying things like;
Say No to WW3!
The enemy is at home, and above us
A rifle is a weapon with a worker at both ends
We are currently getting an onslaught of military recruitment ads and what might be called “cultural interventions” designed to normalise the militarisation of society. I have recently seen buses painted camouflage colours and patterns with army recruitment ads along the sides, and lots of posters on the tube montaging soldiers bodies onto footballers feet to cash in on the World Cup. This is a well financed attempt to make our everyday environment scream militarist presumptions. Anything we can do to add a little challenge will make people think.
We can’t buy space, but we do have felt tip pens.
